What your child never has to give us
- No real name — just an optional nickname they choose.
- No email address, phone number or home address.
- No exact birthdate — only a general age band like "5–8."
- No photo, camera access or microphone access.
- No precise location.
- No account or password — the game just opens and plays.
What ChefGalaxy does collect
A small amount of on-device gameplay data (like which recipes were completed, or crash logs to keep the app stable) that stays on the device and is never linked to your child's identity. See Section 2 of the full policy for the complete list.
Ads shown to children
When ChefGalaxy detects a session in a child age band, it configures Google AdMob for non-personalized, child-directed ads only — no behavioral tracking, no remarketing. Ads are optional "rewarded video" a player chooses to watch, plus infrequent interstitials shown only between activities, never mid-recipe or mid-mini-game.
Purchases
All optional purchases go through Apple's or Google's own purchase confirmation screens (which typically require the device passcode/Face ID/Touch ID or a Google account password) — we never collect payment details ourselves, and the game does not sell gameplay advantages.
No social features for kids
There is no chat, no messaging with strangers, no public profile, and no way for a child to share content publicly from within ChefGalaxy.
Your controls as a parent
- Reset progress: Settings → Reset Progress erases all local data instantly.
- Turn off ads / purchases: use your device's parental controls (Screen Time on iOS, Family Link / Play Store parental controls on Android) to restrict ads and purchases app-wide.
- Ask us to delete something: if you ever contact support and want that message deleted, use our Data Deletion page.
